TV actress becomes local lens ambassador in Asia

A popular TV actress has become a local ambassador for Acuvue Define contact lenses after a number of people remarked on her improved appearance.

Many viewers could not work out what Jesseca Liu had changed about her appearance, but she has admitted it is coloured contact lenses, reports Asia One.

She said: "Others just commented that I looked better. I didn't tell them it was because I had started wearing the lenses, which have given me more confidence."

Ms Liu, who was born in Malaysia, has found that the lenses make her eyes look bigger and is given compliments on how she looks even when not wearing make-up.

She pays particular attention to her own eyes, but the 33-year-old also said that her obsession goes further as nice eyes are the first thing she notices in a man.

Now based in Singapore, Ms Liu first came to fame when she starred in The Champion, but more recently she has appeared as a doctor in The Oath and has been nominated for a number of awards.
